Can I install a Veito heater myself?
Both the Veito Blade and Blade Mini operate at a maximum power of 8.7 amps (Blade 2000) and 5.2 amps (Blade Mini). These units are supplied with a plug and lead and can be plugged into a standard domestic power point.
If you are installing multiple heaters or would prefer a finish without exposed cords, all units can be hard-wired by a licensed electrician.
The Veito Aero units require hardwiring by a licensed electrician as they operate at 10.9 amps.
The brackets supplied with all our heaters will allow the heater to be fixed to a ceiling or angle on a wall in either a horizontal or vertical position.
Once turned on it will take less than 60 secs for our heaters to reach to 100% heat capacity .
What is radiant heat?
Radiant heat is widely regarded as the most comfortable, healthiest and most natural form of heating available. Based in principle on the warmth of the sun, infra-red rays warm you and the objects around you instead of the air that you breathe.
How does radiant heat work?
Like the sun, radiant heat moves in straight lines, warming all the objects in its path which in turn act as heat convertors, giving off their own gentle heat consequently preventing people losing warmth to cold objects such as walls, floors, tables, chairs and other surfaces.
What are the advantages of radiant heat?
Unlike convective heating (hot air), radiant heat produces an even heat that is transferred directly to people, objects and surfaces in its path rather than trying to heat the air itself. Minimal power is used as the heating process does not require fans to distribute heat across the area.
Radiant heating is effective and efficient in large open indoor spaces and is also suitable for outdoor spaces because it doesn’t lose warmth to constantly moving air. The heat from the infrared waves penetrates through the air targeting people and objects.
Radiant heat is a practical, efficient and economical option for areas with high ceilings and poor insulation such as halls, libraries, shops, large classrooms, restaurants, open plan offices and studios etc., as you can place the heaters directly in the area that people occupy.
What is the difference between Veito models?
All Veito carbon infrared heaters have the same internal heating design. The differences between them is their housing and IP rating.
The Aero wall heater is designed to be used indoors and outdoors. An IP rating of 44 means it is splash resistant and can be used outdoors mounted under cover on either a wall or ceiling.
The Veito Blade and Blade Mini can be used indoors or outdoors mounted on a wall, ceiling or on a stand. An IP rating of 55 means it is protected against water ingress and dust. Both these infrared heaters are water resistant and can withstand harsh conditions like rain and snow.
The smaller size of the Veito Blade Mini makes it ideal for use in indoor areas such as bathrooms, small patios, small offices and caravans.

Is the remote available on all heaters?
Both the Veito Blade and Blade Mini are supplied with a remote control. Aero heaters do not have a remote control as they operate at one heat setting of 2,500 watts.

Does the Veito stand fit all models?
We have two stands available for use with the Veito Heaters.
The Veito Stand with X-style base constructed from aluminium is suitable for use with Veito Blade 2000 heater only and Veito Blade Mini Stand in 304 stainless steel with round base is recommended for use with Veito Blade Mini heaters only.
Can the infrared elements be replaced?
The bulbs are rated to last approximately 10,000 hours - replacement bulbs are available. Please contact us.

Veito Australia is not affliated with resellers of Veito products and will take no responsibility for any warranty or fault claims. We recommend that you contact the supplier from whom you purchased your heater for assistance.

What does 2 year limited warranty mean?
Veito heaters purchased from Veito Australia are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of the original purchase, when used for normal household use, subject to the following conditions, exclusions and exceptions. Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty be discovered within two (2) years, Veito Australia will repair or replace, at the Service Technicians discretion, any defective part provided the unit is returned by the original purchaser, freight prepaid to:
Proof of purchase must be included.
The liability of Veito Australia under this warranty is limited solely to the cost of replacement parts or the complete unit at our discretion. Labour charges are not included.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes. This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow Veito's instructions, use on current or voltage other than that stamped on the Veito heater, alteration or repair not authorised by Veito Australia or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit (by common carrier). Repair or disassembly by anyone other than a Veito Australia authorised service representative will void the warranty.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other legal and/or conventional warranties. The responsibility of Veito Australia, if any, is limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it under the terms of the limited warranty. In no event is Veito Australia liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever.
Unauthorised returns, as well as C.O.D. shipments, will be refused.
